Monthly parking and subscriptions

Monthly parking management for permits and subscriptions

Monthly parking management connects an approved subscription period, vehicle and parking entitlement to entrance access. Lexoh connects permits and lane decisions for parking operators and property managers, using the payment and administration workflow selected for the project.

Choose monthly parking software by the renewal workflow

Monthly parking software must keep the paid or approved period aligned with the permit. Choose whether renewal is manual, invoice-based or automatically billed only after confirming the supported payment configuration. The operator needs a clear procedure for late payment and vehicle changes.

Mixed monthly and hourly users

Separate recurring rights from casual parking within the same facility.

Start with the operation

Define what the subscription actually includes

A named stall, access to a zone and permission to use any available space are different offers. State the parking entitlement and payment terms before choosing how it will be administered. The access system should apply the approved right without creating an unstated promise of space availability.

Decisions to confirm in the project scope
Subscription stagePolicy to defineDesign consequence
Start of service Does access start immediately or on a chosen date? Coordinate approval, payment confirmation and credential activation.
Renewal What confirms the next period? Define automatic or staff-managed updates and their timing.
Unpaid or disputed renewal Who decides whether access continues? Document grace periods, approval and the correction process.
Cancellation or transfer When does the old right end? Separate any financial adjustment from revoking or replacing access.

Keep the subscription and the parking right in step

01

Approve the account and entitlement

Identify the subscriber, approved vehicles, zone and period. Confirm whether the right is personal, household-based or issued through an employer. The subscription record must make that distinction explicit.

02

Connect the agreed payment event

Decide which payment record activates or renews the right. Confirm the supported payment and integration workflow rather than assuming every recurring billing arrangement is included. Give staff a way to resolve a mismatched payment and access status.

03

Review exceptions at period end

Test a renewal received on time, a delayed update, a cancelled subscription and a replaced vehicle. Define who may extend a right and what evidence is recorded. Payment administration and the lane decision should remain traceable.

01

Permit and payment records

Keep the approved period and vehicle entitlement in the permit workflow. If billing is handled elsewhere, identify the record that confirms renewal and the team that resolves a delayed update. Security Center’s device view illustrates entry events and controls; it does not demonstrate automatic recurring billing.

02

Reader and subscriber credential

For a card or keypad presentation point, the LEXOH-RFID-OSDP reader supports 125 kHz EM/HID and 13.56 MHz MIFARE credentials, with a documented read range of 2–4 cm. Check the actual card format and controller interface. A vehicle tag or plate-recognition design requires a separate equipment review.

03

Controller and physical entrance

The selected controller and barrier must apply the current permit decision at the lane. Test a renewed permit, an expired right and a replaced credential with the equipment being supplied. Define the operator’s response when a valid subscription is missing from the entrance system.

Planning example

A subscriber changes vehicles during renewal

Imagine a subscriber replacing a car just as the next month is approved. The operator needs to update the vehicle and the valid period without leaving two unintended active rights or interrupting the approved user. Test the new credential, the previous credential and the expiry boundary. If payment and access are managed in different systems, include the update delay and correction procedure in the project brief.

Prepare the scope

Describe the subscription as an operating product

01

The entitlement sold, eligible zones, number of vehicles and whether a specific stall is included.

02

Period start, renewal confirmation, grace periods, cancellation handling and the staff allowed to approve exceptions.

03

Payment systems, data interfaces, receipt or reporting needs and credential replacement procedures.

Monthly parking questions

Questions to settle before selecting the equipment and configuration.

No. A recurring parking right can be administered under an approved payment process. If automatic charging is required, confirm the supported payment provider and workflow separately from the access-control configuration.

Plan an authorized change procedure with an effective time and treatment of the previous credential. Confirm any limits on simultaneous vehicles in the selected system rather than assuming a subscription enforces them automatically.

Only when the operator’s offer explicitly provides that entitlement. Access to a parking area and reservation of a particular stall should be described and administered separately.

Ask for permit administration, payment setup, processing charges, data migration and ongoing support to be separated. Confirm whether recurring billing is actually included. The subscription price paid by the driver is a property policy, not the price of the management system.

Prepare an approved list of subscribers, vehicles, credentials, zones and expiry dates, and identify the payment record that confirms each active period. Agree on the available transfer method and test a sample before changing the live system. Include expired permits, vehicle replacements and a fallback procedure for an approved subscriber who cannot enter.

Lexoh uses a hybrid cloud and offline architecture, with a mesh network that lets site devices communicate without internet. Entry depends on powered equipment and locally available permissions. Test an active subscription, a renewal awaiting an update and a cancelled right at the affected entrances. Offline device communication does not authorize a bank-card charge; billing and delivery of permit changes require their own verified workflow.
