Lexoh project
Boat washing and launch access at Lac-Mégantic
The Lac-Mégantic Lexoh project combines three LMS-145 wash units with payment terminals and six boat launches with LCB-30 control enclosures. Online annual subscriptions, custom double-sided RFID cards and call-centre assistance complete the network.

Connected solution
Wash equipment, launch control and annual cards.
The public network website places two wash stations at Nantes and one at Frontenac. The three units therefore serve two washing locations. Lexoh’s project scope also includes the launch controllers, subscriptions and assistance service.
Network washing locations (French)-
01
Three LMS-145 wash units
Each wash unit includes a payment terminal. The project connects these service points with the network’s subscription and access journey.
-
02
Six controlled boat launches
LCB-30 control enclosures support access at the six launch points in the project.
-
03
Subscriptions, cards and assistance
An online platform manages annual subscriptions. Custom RFID cards are printed on both sides, and a call-centre service supports users.
Published network workflow
Keep the wash coupon for the launch and retrieval.
Official wash-station and barrier instructions (French)Source consulted:
The network publishes a sequence linking payment or an annual card, washing and barrier access:
- 01Activate and wash
Pay or present the annual card, then wash the boat and associated equipment.
- 02Collect the QR coupon
Collect the coupon after washing.
- 03Launch and retrieve
Scan for launch access and keep the coupon for boat retrieval. Consult the network’s current instructions for exceptions and conditions.
Published municipal results
Nearly 2,500 washes reported for summer 2025.
Read the municipal 2025 season report (French)The lakeside municipalities’ November 17, 2025 release reports nearly 2,500 washes during the summer. This is a dated seasonal result, not a forecast for subsequent years.
- reported washes — summer 2025
- ≈ 2,500
The release also notes continuing work to improve the system for 2026.
Planning a comparable network
Define the rules between each wash point and launch.
For another municipal network, map the service points before choosing equipment. Agree how the following rules will be applied and tested at each location.
-
01
Destination and validity
List which launches accept each proof, when it expires and how launching and retrieval are counted. Test the intended route and a rejected destination.
-
02
Subscriptions and exceptions
Define the resident and visitor categories, renewal process and any approved exceptions. Keep the online instructions, kiosk wording and support procedure consistent.
-
03
Assistance and reporting
Identify the operator’s escalation path and the records needed to resolve an access problem. Define reporting periods and distinguish washes, payments and barrier passages when measuring activity.
Plan your installation
Discuss the requirements of your site.
Share your entrances, users, existing equipment and operating requirements. Lexoh can review the access, payment and assistance workflow with your team.
