Kiosks and barrier access in Matawinie parks
The Lexoh project for Matawinie’s regional parks brings together four LPK-128 kiosks, five barriers, an LCB-30 controller and RFID access cards. Four cameras with cloud recording and a point-to-point antenna link connect the lane equipment with the project’s communications and monitoring needs.

Connected solution
Combine new equipment with an existing barrier.
The project includes both new barriers and the integration of a motorized barrier already on site. In the park’s public visitor guide, Quai fédéral, Pointe-Fine and Baie-Dominique are identified as boat-launch locations. The guide provides visitor information; the equipment scope is described below.

Kiosks and control
Four LPK-128 kiosks and one LCB-30 controller serve the project’s access points.

Five integrated barriers
The equipment includes three ELKA S5000 barriers, one ELKA 3500 and one existing motorized barrier integrated into the system.

Communications and video
A point-to-point antenna kit provides a communications link. Four cameras provide cloud recording; the cameras and link have separate roles in the installation.

Custom access cards
RFID cards printed in full colour on both sides provide the project’s physical access credentials.
Planning comparable park entrances
Plan each lane and its connection to the park.
A similar project should start with a survey of the entrances, existing equipment and communications routes. Specify the following requirements with the park operator and installer.

Reuse an existing barrier
Record the model, condition, control interface and vehicle detection. Agree which components are retained and test the complete opening and closing sequence at the lane.

Connect separated access points
Survey the proposed antenna locations, power supply and communications path. Define the response to a lost link and test it with the configured access equipment.

Cards and operating support
Define card issuance and revocation, staff access and visitor assistance. Set the authorized video users and retention period, then document the seasonal opening and closing checks.
